Article 278 Agreement with States in Part B of the First Schedule with regard to certain financial matters.
This article no longer exists. It had covered agreements with the Part B States of the First Schedule on taxation. That classification of States ended with the reorganisation of 1956. The 7th Amendment omitted the article in that year. Nothing in the present scheme depends on it.
