Article 131A Exclusive jurisdiction of the Supreme Court in regard to questions as to constitutional validity of Central laws.
This article no longer exists. It had given the Supreme Court exclusive jurisdiction over questions about the constitutional validity of Central laws. The 43rd Amendment omitted it in 1978. High Courts regained their ordinary jurisdiction in such matters. The omission restored the position that existed before the 42nd Amendment made the change.
